In the 8 years since Little Brother jumped on the scene, fans have been clamoring for a solo album from one of the group’s emcees, Phonte.  In this exclusive TheUrbanDaily interview, Phonte sheds a little light on where he’s at with the project.

Yesterday evening, Phonte of the Foreign Exchange released his collaboration with Lil’ B The Based God, Jean Grae, and 9th Wonder, “Base For Your Face.”  On the 20th episode of his Gordon Gartrell Radio podcast with DJ Brainchild, Phonte explains how the collaboration came to be.
