The prosecution in the upcoming trial of two suspects alleged to have murdered Jam Master Jay will not seek the death penalty for them if convicted, according to a letter found in legal filings with a federal court over the weekend.
After damn near 20 years, two men have finally been indicted in the murder of the late, great Jam Master Jay. However, the details surrounding the rap pioneer's death are only opening old wounds instead of offering complete closure.
The case had remained unsolved since Jay's murder in 2002.
