Earlier this week, Diaw’s lawyer filed court documents in Los Angeles requesting the case be dismissed “with prejudice,” indicating both parties have reach a settlement and the lawsuit cannot be reopened.

Diaw has claimed that he suffered serious head injuries and was stomped on after being struck unconscious. While details of the alleged settlement remain undisclosed, the dismissal request is a significant legal win for Brown, even as he continues to face criminal charges in the UK for the same incident. Brown entered a not guilty plea in June for those charges including grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon.

Despite these legal challenges, the show must go on and Brown continues to perform. He remains on bail in the UK and has resumed his Breezy Bowl XX world tour. His criminal trial is set for October 26, 2026.
