RCA Records has to be feeling like they’re sitting on a goldmine. SZA, Chris Brown, Doja Cat, and Latto pushed RCA into the history books, by occupying the top 4 slots on the Billboard Rhythmic Airplay Charts.

It’s led by SZA and her chart-topping record, “I Hate U,” climbing to her first no. 1 (on that chart) as a lead artist. Its plays have increased by 16%, says Yahoo! News.  Doja Cat’s smash-hit, “Woman,” has climbed to the no. 2 spot after a 13% increase in weekly plays. Latto’s at no. 3 with “Big Energy,” which has been dominating the charts for weeks. Chris Brown’s, “Iffy,” has nudged up to the no. 4. spot. All four artists are under RCA Records and this is one of those ‘once every blue moon’ scenarios. It truly is major. This hasn’t been accomplished since Republic Records and their chart-domination of November 2011.

“This is a really special and rare occasion. A label hasn’t occupied the top four spots at Rhythm radio in over 10 years. To strategize, maneuver and execute was incredible to be a part of,” said Keith Rothschild, Co-Head of Promotion at RCA, in an interview with Billboard.

Kevin Vallentini, SVP at RCA, continued, “We must give credit to the artists and our A&R department for giving us such amazing records. As much as our radio partners respect our judgment, each record takes the same amount of effort with a different approach each time. Nothing is a given. As promotion people, we’re competitive by nature, but it’s even better when you’re competing against yourself.”
