CNN is putting their money where the culture is. With the major announcement of former Mayor of Atlanta Keisha Lance Bottoms joining the CNN team as a political commentator, it seems as though CNN is not done. Former top sports commentators at ESPN Jemele Hill and Cari Champion are now joining the streaming side of CNN known as CNN+. Cari took to Instagram to make the announcement saying, “NEW SHOW ALERT. Speak.Easy with @jemelehill and ME debuts soon. Family, we’ve been waiting to share this news with y’all. It’s important to have a voice in the world that often refuses to speak loudly and easily for the marginalized! You know the vibes. We have fun. We speak truth to power and we sip🍷We’re BAACCKKKKK. With an upgrade💅🏾 @cnnplus Speak.Easy.”

Since the departure of Jemele and Cari from ESPN they have stuck very close and tight to provide their unapologetic opinions combined. This lead them to another show they have on ViceTV called, “Won’t Stick To Sports.”
