The Baltimore Algebra Project (BAP) is a youth-led math literacy program that uses peer-to-peer tutoring and experiential pedagogy to strengthen math skills, employ youth, and develop leadership potential. The youth of the BAP believe that math skills are a gateway to breaking the cycle of poverty that afflicts urban youth.
