Forecasters are predicting six to 12 inches of snow will slam Baltimore while some area in the metro could see 14 to 18 inches. A winter storm warning has been issued from 7 p.m. Monday until 2 p.m. Tuesday with the snow expected to start Monday night.
The MEMA is warning residents to prepare for the worst and stock up on supplies in advance.
“Don’t let the recent mild weather fool you – it’s still winter and this storm is coming,” said Governor Hogan. “Marylanders should prepare for the storm and make plans to check on vulnerable family, friends, and neighbors when the bad weather hits. Use common sense and don’t drive during the storm.”
