Spider-Man made his triumphant debut in the M.C.U. (Marvel Cinematic Universe) in last summer’s blockbuster superhero film Captain America: Civil War.Tonight we get our first glimpse at Spidey’s first solo film under the Marvel Studios banner and it looks pretty damn good.
In Spider-Man: Homecoming we follow a young Peter Parker (Tom Holland) who is still fresh off his high from teaming up Tony Stark (Robert Downy Jr.) to take on Captain America and his crew.
Young Spidey now has the crime fighting itch and is learning to love his new crime fighting gig as New York’s web slinging defender. All the while still being a young teenager at heart and still dealing with things like hormones, homework and girls.
We also get a good look at Spider-Man:Homecoming’s main villain, The Vulture (Michael Keaton) and he looks fully upgraded.
There are also rumors that Shocker may also be in the film and it’s listed Bokeem Woodbine will be playing Spidey’s classic villain.
Spider-Man: Homecoming also features one of our favorite Avengers, Iron Man aka Tony Stark who will also be in the film as he serves as a mentor to the rookie superhero. He will be lending not only his technology but some much-needed guidance. Spider-Man: Homecoming also stars our favorite FLY gal Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Jon Farveau,Donald Glover.
Spider-Man:Homecoming swings into theaters 7/7/17 and we cannot wait!
