Memorial Day basically means cookouts and beaches! For others it may mean picnics and a day off! Well, Memorial Day means a little more than that. This day is federally observed annually for those who have died in the service. This day is for the Troops! We need show them some love and let them know that we appreciate them!
You can send them a short letter or a note and give it to your local Veteran’s club.
Foster a soldier’s pet while he/she is overseas or away or get connected with a military foster agency.
Place a flag outside of your house or on a Veteran’s grave.
Participate in a Memorial day Parade.
Visit a military museum or a historic site.
Don’t forget to enjoy your Memorial Day Monday off!
