With more snow on the streets, there are still lots of concern about snow removal.

There’s a lot of work to be done on side streets. It’s going to be sunny today and temperatures are above the freezing mark.

Many area residents don’t have electricity. “The largest group is in Anne Arundel County, followed by Baltimore County then Baltimore City,” said Rob Gould, BGE. We have whole trees and limbs down. We have wires down now. That’s a real concern for us.”

The driving conditions were so bad Wednesday night that trucks could not respond to the calls during the storm.

Major highways were clogged with cars simply stuck not going anywhere for up to 9 hours in some areas. A tractor trailer crashed at I-83 and the beltway—forcing some commuters to abandon their cars on the highway.
