Interruptions is what Kanye West does best (well besides doing music)! With his new single, H.A.M featuring Jay Z, and Brittney Spears’ new single, Hold It Against Me, dropping at the same time, only one can be number one.

Similiar to what Ye’ did to Country Bumpkin Taylor Swift, Kanye jokingly tried to interrupt her single success on iTunes. Ye’ tweeted:

“Yo Britney, I’m really happy for you and I’mma let you be #1, but me and Jay-Z single is one of the best songs of all time! LOL”

TeamBrittney must have sent messages to Ye’ because minutes later, that tweet was deleted.

A few minutes later, Kanye tweeted that he was actually happy for her success and that he was only joking.

“On a serious note I’m truly happy for @AvrilLavigne and @BritneySpears… No hate in 2011!,”

“I thought LOL signified a joke… I didn’t get the 2011 LOL doesn’t signify a joke anymore memo… LOL or something else I guess”

Somewhere deep back in the evil part of my mind, I think Kanye really meant that tweet but did not want to be seen as a hater again, or get that backlash that he did with Country Bumpkin Taylor Swift.
