According to police, Zimmerman was armed when officers pulled him over on Highway 80 in Forney, east of Dallas.
Zimmerman was driving a Honda pickup and informed the officers that he was armed. They then told him to put his weapon away in his glove compartment. Zimmerman then asked officers if they recognized him from television and the officer said he did not. The officer asked Zimmerman where he was going to which he replied, “No place in particular.” They then allowed Zimmerman to leave if he had no criminal issues and released on a warning. The incident was captured on the officer’s dashcam.
I guess George is just looking for some place to go where he can have some peace.
