Diddy’s Legal Team Pushes for Bail
Sean “Diddy” Combs is making headlines again, this time for filing a new motion for bail while awaiting sentencing. Although acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering charges, Diddy was found guilty on two prostitution-related counts. His legal team is proposing a $50 million bond backed by his Florida estate, limited travel, and even home detention if necessary. Prosecutors, however, are pushing for him to remain in custody. The judge has yet to rule.

Mary J. Blige Claps Back at $5M Lawsuit
Mary J. Blige is firing back at her former stylist and ex-best friend, Misa Hilton, who filed a $5 million lawsuit over a dispute involving Harlem rapper Vado. Mary’s legal team is calling the lawsuit “utterly meritless” and claims Hilton’s company isn’t even legitimate. They’re seeking sanctions against Hilton and her attorneys, arguing the case is nothing more than harassment.

Tory Lanez’s Fight Continues
Tory Lanez is gearing up for another court date on August 18th in Los Angeles. Convicted in the Megan Thee Stallion shooting case, Lanez is seeking to overturn his sentence. His father remains optimistic, even penning a book about the ordeal.

Erykah Badu is hitting the road to celebrate the 25th anniversary of her iconic album Mama’s Gun. The 16-show tour kicks off soon, though fans in D.C. and Baltimore are disappointed to see their cities missing from the lineup.
