Oscar-winning actress Viola Davis just got the wax treatment – and the results are nothing short of flawless. The acclaimed star recently unveiled her brand-new wax figure at Madame Tussauds Hollywood, and fans are raving about how spot-on the likeness is.

The art piece is dressed in a striking red gown made by Giorgio Armani Prive that Davis wore to the 2017 Oscars where she won the best supporting actress award for her role in Fences. The wax figure captures the essence of the star’s elegance and strength; traits that have defined her groundbreaking career in Hollywood.

According to reports, Davis was very impressed with the accuracy of the wax figure’s appearance compared to her own, saying the moment felt like a dream and everything was “right” from her teeth to her lips.

The Madame Tussauds creative team, including sculptors, colorists, hairdressers and stylists, took approximately 200 measurements and photographs to ensure every detail was as close as possible to the real Viola Davis.

Davis has made history time and time again, but most recently as the youngest person and the first African American to achieve EGOT status; winning an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony Award. Known for unforgettable performances in The Woman King, How to Get Away with Murder and Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, Davis continues to break barriers and inspire with every role.

Davis is also a best-selling author, activist and producer, using her platform to spotlight underrepresented stories and communities.

Now, fans can visit Madame Tussauds Hollywood to see the stunning tribute to a living legend who’s still making history every step of the way.
