President Joe Biden commuted the sentence of  1,500 people and pardoned 39  convicted of nonviolent crimes in the largest act of clemency in a single day, however despite the public pleas former Baltimore City’s State Attorney Marilyn Mosby wasn’t one of them.

Mosby was sentenced to three years of supervised release and a year of house arrest after she was convicted of perjury and mortgage fraud, following the sentence the public and the family of Mosby has pleaded with President Joe Biden to pardon her, however that didn’t happen. President pardoned his son, Hunter Biden, who was prosecuted for gun and tax related crimes, which called for many people requesting to pardon Mosby.

On Dec. 5, a group of protesters marched to the White House to ask President Joe Biden to pardon former Baltimore City State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby.
