Department of Agriculture Cracking Down on Food-stamp Fraud

The Department of Agriculture is weeding out food stamp scammers, after a number of cards turned up on sale on Craigslist and ebay.
It appears even some stores are trading food stamps for cash, which is illegal. Penalties would include fines or disqualification, while stores would be kicked off the program.
