Gov. Edwards added that the Middle District of Louisiana U.S. Attorney's office and the FBI will also assist in the investigation.
The Oklahoma Medical Examiner's report listed the probable cause of death as asphyxiation due to "manual compression of the neck."
The shooter is still on the loose, authorities have not made any arrests and continue their investigation.
