Anyone who has ever been in a long-term relationship will tell you it requires more work to keep it together than it did to obtain it. LaLa and Carmelo Anthony‘s marriage is no different from yours or your neighbor’s. Rumors that the couple were facing divorce weren’t necessarily true but, as the saying goes, where there’s smoke, there’s a fire. “If anyone says in 10 years you don’t go through ups and downs, they’re lying to you. We’re in a real relationship. We have our ups and we have our downs, but we definitely work through them, and we’re great right now,” LaLa told “Access Hollywood.”
“The highs are, he’s my best friend. I’ve been with him for 10 years. He’s my best friend and we get through the hard times because we know that we want this marriage to work and we want to be together.”
