And Now A Word From The-Dream!!! from the.LIFE Files on Vimeo.

R&B singer The-Dream has shared his reaction to seeing his wedding photo with Christina Milian land online earlier this month.

Dream explained why he decided to rock the high fashion riding boots.

“Yeah, I don’t know how they got that though,” Dream explained in an interview. “That was some, see, most of that stuff, nobody knows, I’m kinda cultural — she’ll do something that she does and I’ll agree with it — but I forget how big she is in that world, in that blog space world. And she’ll be like, ‘Oh, I picked this out’ and I’ll be like, ‘Oh, that’s cool.’ Yeah everybody was like, ‘You don’t have a hat on?’ It’s like, I don’t sleep with a hat on — people see things when you’re in a different place and they forget, ‘Oh, some days he probably did go to church’ so it’s just a different visual type of thing. In history, once it goes back, somebody will look back and say, ‘Oh, that was hot.’ And that’s what I’m about.” (The Life Files)

Details on the photo spread across the Internet in early December.

Well, despite people’s shock and confusion, Christina and The Dream made it official via a Vegas chapel wedding (the same chapel Britney Spears in 2004 said her “I Do’s” in only to say “I Don’t” a few hours later) and then made it official once again in Rome. The photo is of their second wedding that took place in Rome, Italy. Christina wore a dress by Monique Lhuillier while The Dream wore a unique styled tux by Alexander McQueen. (Examiner)

The wedding reportedly took place around the first-week of September 2009.

It all went down close to midnight at the legendary Little White Wedding Chapel — the same place Britney Spears married that Jason Alexander dude back in 2004. According to Milian’s marriage license, the two said “I Do” at exactly 12:00 AM Friday morning. We’re told Milian rented her wedding dress for $200 (including shoes and veil) and The Dream rented his tux for $100 (including shoes, tie and vest). It’s no big surprise they got hitched — as we first reported, the two applied for a marriage license last month … and those things are only good for 90 days. (TMZ)

Reports of the two applying for a marriage license surfaced last August.

Milian, 27, and her fiance Terius “The Dream” Nash, 31, have applied for a marriage license in Los Angeles, which means that they officially have 90 days to tie the knot. Although the two have been a couple for quite some time, they tried to keep their relationship under wraps. They’ve been photographed together extensively over the last few months, and though Milian started rocking a six-carat engagement ring last spring, she confirmed just one month ago that she was, in fact, engaged to her producer boyfriend. At the time, she said they planned on keeping the ceremony simple and intimate: “We just want to have our closest friends and family there; it’s not going to be too big.” (Latina)
