In light of today’s national holiday, rappers Soulja Boy Tell Em, Talib Kweli, RZA and more have celebrated the life of late civil rights activist and motivational speaker, Martin Luther King, Jr. (SOHH)
Despite only being 19, Soulja Boy paid homage to King’s 1960’s movement.
“What would it be like if Martin Luther King Jr. became president?,” he asked via Twitter on Monday (January 18). “R.I.P A legend who died for us. I salute him with utmost respect.” (Soulja Boy Tell Em’s Twitter)
Kweli focused on the positive effects King’s legacy continues to represent.
