Imagine going to Walgreens to purchase condoms for protection but then you’re rejected by the sales associate because of their personal religious beliefs. It’s been reported that a couple in Wisconsin was rejected from purchasing condoms for this exact reason. The customer Nathan Pentz tweeted about this story. In the twitter thread he mentioned that his partner was embarrassed in front of other customers because of her reproductive choice to purchase condoms.
It has not been stated whether if anything has been said to the sales associate about this. Walgreens has also not publicly made a statement in this matter.
