I think everyone knows how EPIC a collaborative event with Nicki Minaj and Lil Kim would be. More than ever before, it seems that we may be closer to see the two join forces for something…..so we hope.
During an interview with Joe Budden, he said that the Nicki & Kim need to do a Verzuz. This comes after Nicki Minaj admitted that she would entertain a Verzuz battle in a previous interview . She said, “I do think there might be a female or two…”
While Joe mentioned a few females emcees that she could go up against including Kim, Missy Elliott or Lauryn Hill, Nicki replied, “I’m not saying anybody’s name..”
She continued saying that it would be more of a celebratory event versus a battle.
“No, because I approach those things as a rap fan, not as Nicki Minaj. It’s just about if somebody can play their joints and have people reminisce and go crazy… So yes, there are people.”
Whatever the two work on, it just would be AMAZING for the culture.
