It’s the most talked about ‘Verzuz’ that will probably never happen.
The possibility of Jay-Z taking part in the competition is slim to none, but everybody talks about who could even go toe-to-toe with the GOAT. 2 Chainz thinks there’s only 3 artists who can. During an interview with the All The Smoke podcast, 2 Chainz shared, “I think [Lil Wayne] has the stage presence and charisma I think he got the songs. I think Drake got the stage presence, charisma he got the songs. So you got a few people. I think Ye got the stage presence, charisma, the songs. So you know, you get to the nitty-gritty we got a few artists that we are alive to see right now.” Notice how he didn’t mention himself in the mix. I respect that and his opinion.

My take: No one.
Speaking of opinions, no one can go against Jay. It’s not that no one is worthy, or anything of the sort. It’s more about the uncharted territory that is Jay’s career. I feel as though he’s in a space that is unparalleled to other artists. It’s a space where him, his wife (Beyonce’, duh), Chris Brown, Michael Jackson, and other mega-stars can be great in their own regards, shining how no one else can shine. There is a hefty list of mega-stars who fit that mold and Jay-Z is one of them.
