It’s been the topic of conversation all weekend long.

Track & Field sensation Sha’Carri Richardson made her return to the track this weekend at the Prefontaine Classic after being banned from the Olympic games. She went head-to-head with Jamaica’s star Elaine Thompson-Herah who would go on to win the race with the best 100-Meter time of the year, 10.54 seconds. Just like the Olympic run, Jamaica’s team took the first, second, and third place finishes with fellow Jamaicans Shelley-Anne Fraser-Pryce and Shericka Jackson close behind.

“I’m a little bit surprised because I’ve not run that fast in five years and I actually ran fast at the championships. But to come back here after two weeks to run another personal best is a really amazing,” Thompson-Herah said.

The post-race interview.

Sha’Carri wasn’t shy in her post-race interview. After finishing last, she assured her supporters that she’s not done and reminded everyone of her capabilities. It’s fair to say that she wasn’t satisfied with her performance and feels that she can do better. She just had a ‘different’ way of saying it.

“This is one race,” she said. “I’m not done. You know what I’m capable of. Count me out if you want to. Talk all the sh– you want. Because I’m here to stay. I’m not done. I’m the sixth fastest woman in this game ever. Can’t nobody ever take that from me.”
