Well it looks like being fully vaccinated comes with some new perks! The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced new guidance on Tuesday for outdoor mask use for fully vaccinated Americans. Drum Roll….. Fully vaccinated people can now go mask less at small outdoor gatherings, or when dining outside with friends from different households. The CDC director says,

“If you are fully vaccinated and want to attend a small outdoor gathering with people who are vaccinated and unvaccinated, or dine at an outdoor restaurant with friends from multiple households, the science shows if you are vaccinated, you can do so safely unmasked,”

For the record a quick reminder if you’re not vaccinated this does not apply to you, the CDC is telling unvaccinated people that they still need to wear a mask at such gatherings.
