The 2020 NFL season kicked off Thursday night and while the KC Chiefs linked arms during the star spangled banner The Houston Texans left the field and walked back into the team locker room for both the Star-Spangled Banner and “Lift Ev’ry Voice and Sing.” Although many weren’t hear for the anthem chile Singers Chloe x Halle performed the heck out of that national anthem and made sure to honor their culture while doing so. The sister duo both honored George Floyd and Breonna Taylor on their shirts which was dope and at the end of the performance they both threw their fist to their air, Whew is was a moment!
