Following the shooting of the black unarmed man Jacob Blake the sports world came together and has voted to end the season. Following the boycott Vice President Mike Pence’s chief of staff said that NBA protests over the police shooting of Jacob Blake are “absurd and silly.” In addition to that the White House senior adviser Jared Kushner said that the players were “very fortunate” to be in a financial position “take a night off from work.” A night off from work? I’m sure the players are thinking of this boycott as more than just a day off!
