A 13-year-old Florida girl was taken to the hospital for constipation turned out to be 14 weeks pregnant and a 70-year-old who was taking care of her admitted to being the father of the unborn child.
Renaud Jerome was arrested in Palm Beach County and charged with three counts of sexual activity with a child and a count of impregnating a minor. He is being held without bail.
The girl told an investigator that Jerome would touch her and have sex with her, according to the arrest report.
Florida law says no one under the age of 16 can give legal consent to sexual activity.
