Baltimore boxing champ Gervonta “Tank” Davis allegedly sucker punched a childhood homeboy during an argument between the boxer and his brother, according to the Sun.
Anthony Wheeler was diagnosed with a concussion and charges were pressed at the Baltimore District Court in August.
“I had nothing to do with the altercation, and the defendant sucker punched me very violently and intentionally,” Wheeler said in the papers.
Davis was arrested last week and charged with one count each of first-degree assault and second-degree assault. He was released on a $100,000 unsecured property bond.
