What would you do if you went to the ATM and instead of getting receipt for your transaction you get a handwritten note that reads, “Please help I’m stuck here”?
Several Bank of America customers in Corpus Christi, Texas were placed in this position Wednesday afternoon when a repairman locked himself in a room connected to the ATM for two hours.
Apparently the repairman left his key and swipe card, which grant access to the private room, in his truck. Lucky for him someone finally took him seriously, because Corpus Christi police told reporters other customers thought the note was a joke before someone actually called to help the man. Even police thought it was a joke!
Authorities finally got the repairman- who was a contract worker- from the ATM by kicking in the door to the room in which he was trapped.
