Breaking news on Baltimore County police are reporting Milford Mill Academy is currently under ALERT STATUS, with a rumor about a weapon on the premises.

According to police, a parent reported that her child had received information about a threat against the school.
Police said there is not a shooter in the school. However, police have put the school on lockdown so they can search the school for the weapon.
According to police, no gun has been found yet.
Police are investigating how the rumor about the threat started.
Parents are advised to go to the Giant parking lot at 3602 Milford Mill Road. Police will provide parents with information at that location.
