You’re sitting on the living room couch, playing your XBox or Playstation debating in your head why you should vote or not. Yeah, maybe you feel your life is cool the way it is, so why should you vote to change things? Well, your vote doesn’t just help YOU!!! It’s helps the country!

I’m not sure if you have time, but maybe you should check out this list of some last minute pleas for the lackluster voter:

Voting gives you a voice in our political process

By voting, we can tell our leaders how we feel about any number of issues, and if they don’t respond how we’d like them to, we can vote them out. And there’s nothing they can do about it.

Voting should not be taken for granted

By not voting, we are saying that we aren’t all that interested in having our voices heard, and if we aren’t all that interested in having our voices heard, our leaders will undoubtedly continue doing everything they can to serve their—and not our—best interests.

Voting makes a difference in the futures of our children

Kids can’t vote, so they’re counting on us to do it for them. Just as we make our voices heard about the world we want to see, we can make our voices heard about the world we want to see for our kids.
