HVAC – REFRIGERATORS (COLUMBIA, MD)
Aerotek is looking for Journeyman HVAC licensed technicians to do service work for their customers in the Baltimore/Washington area. They will be operating out of a company vehicle but are expected to have their own tools. Technicians bring their company vehicles home with them at night, and are primarily dispatched by a company-issued smart phone. They will only need to come into the office a couple times a week (perhaps for parts, meetings, etc.). Our customers are primarily restaurants and grocery stores, really anyone in the foodservice industry. They specialize in commercial walk-in freezers, refrigerators, but also do heating and air for the same locations. They have service contracts with restaurant chains like McDonalds, Wendy’s, Caribou, Outback and Taco Bell.
The ideal candidate will have restaurant or foodservice experience, especially with the freezers and refrigerators. A lot of what these technicians will be doing is on the PM side (service contract work), but they need to be able to handle any troubleshooting/repairs on their own. The territory extends up north of Baltimore to Delaware and around onto the Eastern Shore, west out to Frederick, and south to DC/NOVA. Any given technician isn’t responsible for this whole territory, but rather a chunk of it (i.e. DC/NOVA or Baltimore City or north of Baltimore, etc.). Open to being ON CALL once a month.
