Tyler Perry’s feature in the August issue of Ebony Magazine.  The article states “Five Perry films have claimed the No.1 spot on opening weekends, putting him in a heady fraternity with the likes of directors Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese, James Cameron, and Quentin Tarantino.”  Is Perry truly a part of the Hollywood elite?
