Last year Jennifer Hudson invited cameras into her world as she traveled to her hometown of Chicago and beyond to bring joy to others for the holidays. In spite of her own tragedy, the death of her mother, brother and nephew 2 years ago, she has a new outlook on life especially since the birth of her son and getting married.
“It was surreal,” the Grammy Award-winning vocal powerhouse shared. “It was like I was outside of myself.”
“In a way, my brother drives me in my music. My son reminds me of my nephew and being a mother reminds me of my mother, and in so many ways, I channel her because she was such a great mom,” Hudson said.
