Rumor has it that Wyclef is supposed to run for President of Haiti. The elections are November 28 but candidates must register by August 7. He has been a great supporter of the cause for Haiti since the earthquake and has continued to support and locate additional materials such as food and shelters for his people.
There have always been talk about Wyclef wanting to be President of Haiti, however since President Rene Preval has signed a decree that said that election must happen in November of this year in Haiti.
Much of the support for Wyclef are coming from Hollywood where many big name artists have pledge to help him finance his campaign if he decides to run.
