According to a post on celebrity blogger Sandra Rose’s website (and the video below) singer Lloyd said in a post-show interview that he told Chris Brown to turn on the waterworks during the MJ tribute during the 2010 BET Awards Show in order to gain sympathy. But honestly from a PR standpoint this was a great idea but although the tears may have been contrived, I’m certain that Chris Brown is truly sorry for his mistake and wants fans to give him another chance. With tour dates being cancelled around the world and his last record sales not doing well, I’m sure it wasn’t hard to produce those tears. Cut the man a break. He is young and made a mistake. Although I don’t condone his past behavior, I believe everyone deserves a second chance and the young brother has paid his dues.
