Antonio Jackson told reporters that he threw a graduation party for 176 Morgan State University who paid $5 for each ticket. Admission included a complimentary drink. Club 410 was padlocked last year after police claimed the establishment was linked to drug dealing and violence. The owner is currently service a sentence in prison on drug charges.

Police say that the liquor license for Club 410 had to be sold due to those claims.  Jackson said that should not deter him from selling alcohol at the location. Police report that over 300 people were at the location that evening. Two security guards at the location were also arrested for impersonating police officers and were equipped with guns and marked vests. The same guards were granted special police permits at the China Room. Police are saying that their paperwork is not valid.

Jackson claimed that he knew nothing of the location’s history prior to leasing the property.
