The man shot in the back was taken to Sinai and is in serious condition, but expected to survive. He has not been identified.

Also Friday, a 23-year-old man was shot and killed shortly before 11 p.m.

It’s believed that this shooting was a botched home invasion. Suspects entered and shot the victim, who was pronounced dead at Johns Hopkins. That victim’s name has not been released.

Another home invasion also led to gunfire. Officials say that a suspect entered the home and tied up the family. One man was shot in the head, but he is expected to survive. Police have a person of interest in custody.

Just after midnight, a 30-year-old man was shot in the chest. The victim, Jamal Thomas, was arguing with the shooter inside Kay’s Liquor Store. The argument spilled outside, where Thomas was shot. The suspect is at large.
