Funnyman Rickey Smiley is known for making millions laugh for over 20 years
professionally. As a much loved comedian, television host, and top rated
nationally syndicated radio personality, Smiley has earned a reputation for
delivering for audiences on and off stage. With the distinct ability to take everyday
observations and turn them into comedic gold, Smiley is a standout in the
entertainment world. Rickey Smiley is one of the few “clean” comics amongst the
upper echelon of contemporary great Comedians. His audiences are treated to such
original characters as “Mrs. Bernice Jenkins”, “Lil’ Daryl,” Joe Willie and
“Beauford.” In addition, his comedy shows often include a live band, which he
accompanies playing several instruments and singing.
Rickey Smiley has taken the world by storm with his unique blend of comedy and
originality. In 2007, Smiley became the host of the Rickey Smiley Morning Show,
one of the funniest and most compelling morning shows in the country. Based in
Atlanta, in over 50 markets, and growing, the Rickey Smiley Morning Show is a
blend of laughter, community outreach, social political awareness and celebrity
news.
Rickey Smiley is the only comedian who has had the honor of hosting BET’s
Comic View for two seasons. Over the years, he has made numerous television and
movie appearances. He has released eight comedy CDs complied of hilarious
prank phone calls, church announcements and parodies (see credits below). In
addition to his comedy CD’s Smiley released his DVD Special, “Open Casket
Sharp”, that premiered on BET in Fall of 2011 and debut #1 on ITunes.
Rickey Smiley and veteran TV producer/director Roger Bobb have teamed up to
create The Rickey Smiley Show, currently in production in Atlanta GA. “The Rickey
Smiley Show” is a sitcom, starring Rickey Smiley, as a comedian, nationally
syndicated radio personality, and single father of three; a character a loosely based
on his own life. The show’s stories are derived from Rickey’s attempt to raise his
children by himself and still have a personal life, as well as from situations that
arise at the radio station, which is a hot bed of office politics, social issues,
celebrity appearances, music and, of course, humor. The show’s premier date is
September 18th, 2012 on TV One and will air weekly.
Also in the Fall The Rickey Smiley Morning Show will be featured in a daily
entertainment news television show, Dish Nation. They will be paired with four
other nationally syndicated radio personalities. Dish Nation will premier
September 10th, 2012 on FOX affiliates.
In addition to the radio and tv shows, Smiley resently completed the Laugh and
Shout Experience tour. The tour headlined Rickey Smiley as Minister Joe Willie
joined by the Deuteronomaires featuring Gospel artists Earnest Pugh, Zacardi
Cortez, and Darlene McCoy. The Laugh and Shout Experience tour is set to
resume in the Fall.
Smiley is also a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated. His free
time is spent with his loving children in his hometown of Birmingham, Alabama.

A native of the Steel City (Pittsburgh, PA) dominating the airwaves through audiences young and “seasoned” Ki Ki Brown has worked in the radio industry for 16 years and counting!
Accomplishments: Best Midday Personality in a Major Market by the AIR Awards (Achievements In Radio) in 2007, and Community Leader of the year award in 2010 for her outstanding community service both on and off the air.
A community advocate, KiKi has created and implemented several community programs:
“Charm School in the Charm City”, “Lending A Helpful Handbag for Women of Domestic Violence”, “Take A Walk In My Shoes” a program for young men currently living in group homes, and recently “Man Camp 2012”, for young boys lacking in self-confidence and proper etiquette.
