Grab your Kleenex now! A video of a Baltimore children’s choir singing Andra Day’s “Rise Up” is going viral. The kids from Cardinal Shehan School directed by Kenyatta Hardison has been viewed over 3 million times on her Facebook page and shared over 83,000 times.

The video is 9-minute packed with powerful lyrics of the song followed by their angelic voices. The lead singers Kai Young, John Paige and Bryana Hardison give an amazing performance with the choir backing them up. Hardison told CBS Baltimore, “The children are speaking, the children are giving the message, they’re leading us. This is part of Baltimore, there is hope, kids with compassion, kids who love and spread peace, who believe in one another.”
She said she chose “Rise Up” because of the encouraging message. One student said, “It feels like we can do anything and have an awesome impact on the world.” The video is spreading quickly and we hope you enjoy it just as much as we did.
