Having a strong passion for music throughout childhood, ELLIS knew being an emcee was his destiny. In 2008 after years of neglecting his talent, he came together with his longtime friend and producing partner Legin to create their own independent label, BMC (BMoreCareful), and pursue a music career.
In 2013/2014 he released The Education Of ELLIS (E.O.E), which was packaged as a double disc with a short film of the same name that gained success and was screened at various film festivals across the U.S. The lead single “Misled” featured Styles P. of The LOX and is still currently played on web and satellite radio stations. ELLIS has since released another album called Ocean Grown and is currently shooting a short film as a follow up to the E.O.E.
