The Dab” is now the latest dance move sweeping locker rooms across college football.

You thought Dabo Swinney was the only ‘hip’ coach with all the moves? Contrary to wild speculation, the dance move is not named after him. But he has ignited a bit of a trend among college football coaches (Cam Newton non-withstanding).

On Saturday, a who’s who list of big-name coaches celebrated in their locker rooms by throwing their arms over their faces.

See normally staid Ohio State coach Urban Meyer after a triumphant 42-13 win against rival Michigan.

Even Louisville coach Bobby Petrino got into the act after the Cards’ 38-24 comeback victory against rival Kentucky.

But perhaps the best one came from Virginia Tech coach Frank Beamer, celebrating after a 23-20 win against rival Virginia to get the Hokies bowl eligible for the 23rd straight season, in his second-to-last game as head coach there.
