(Washington, DC)- The Metropolitan Police Department and the DC Department of Transportation would like to inform the public of several street closures due to the Justice or Else/Million Man March, scheduled to be held on Saturday, October 10, 2015.
On Saturday, October 10, 2015, the following streets will be closed from 4:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- 3rd Street, NW from Constitution Avenue, NW to Independence Avenue, SW
- 4th Street, NW from Madison Avenue, NW to Independence Avenue, SW
- Maryland Avenue, SW from 3rd Street to Independence Avenue, SW
All street closures and listed times are subject to change based upon prevailing or unexpected conditions. Motorists could encounter possible delays if operating in the vicinity of this event and may wish to consider alternative routes. The Metropolitan Police Department and the D.C. Department of Transportation also wishes to remind motorists in the vicinity of this event to proceed with caution as increased pedestrian traffic can be anticipated.
