She’s beautiful inside too and she takes care of her people. Shout out to Necolebitchie.com for this inside look into Rihanna’s Clara Lionel Foundation. The foundation is named after her grand parents and is currently helping many Bajan folks out and specifically is helping cancer patients.
In memory of her late Gran-gran, who had a long struggle with cancer, the foundation has updated a local hospital’s oncology equipment and the center has since been renamed The Clara Brathwaite Centre for Oncology and Nuclear Medicine. Kudos to Rihanna and the folks at her foundation, for seeing an immediate problem and just fixing it.
I wish politicians could move like that….it’s sad how many people are denied proper healthcare and the ridiculous cost of cancer treatment.
