Iggy Azalea took to her favorite venting platform, Twitter, to address recent remarks challenging her authenticity when it comes to her music and hip hop persona.  The comments were made by two of the most respected women in urban music, which caused even more of a sting. Rapper Eve and singer Jill Scott revealed in a recent interview that they were turned off by Iggy’s “blaccent” and felt that it was not original or real.  Eve expressed that although she thinks Iggy is beautiful and talented, she would appreciate Iggy’s music more if she embraced her Australian roots and incorporated it into her music. Check out the interview below and hear their Iggy comments at the 8 minute mark.
