Today, I decided to put my headphones on and listen to some gospel. I do that when I want to block out everything around me or to get focused on my show. We all have a lot going on in our lives and sometimes, it can bring some tension. Not knowing, but that tension can either be present to others as negative attention or can be a magnet for negative attention from others.
Either way, the negative energy exists and there are ways to to deal with it:
Forget about the negative things that others are spewing about. Unless it directly affects you and yours, move on.
Change your circle of friends.
Stop taking on other people’s sh**, they will let you have as much of it as you want; it relieves them of the burden.
Take a 10 or 15 minute break, pull up some vacation photos and relive some of those memorable moments. Talk about switching to a positive attitude, this does it every time.
And most of my responses on social media have been this main point: PRAY!
