Mariah Carey, who’s been known to be a diva at times, poked fun at herself and got decked out in couture to ride the #1 train in NYC. According to Necole Bitchie:
Last night, Mariah Carey, who some consider one of the biggest demanding divas in the business, decided to poke fun at her reputation by getting glammed up and taking to the streets like us regular folks. While on her way to the 2014 Fresh Air Fund Honoring Our American Heroes event, she hit the streets in a baby blue, floor-length gown and hopped on the #1 train.
Not only did she post a pic of her train ride on Instagram with the caption, “Glimpses of our joyride on the 1 train #subwayincouture,” she uploaded a series of Vine clips from when she left the hotel to walk to the subway. And boy was it an adventure!
She posted the above pics to her social sites and as you can see Jermaine Dupri took the ride with her alongside BET exec Stephen Hil. CHECK OUT THE VIDEOS HERE
