Michelle Iamoverfortyandfabulous Brittingham It is very important my kids father weren’t there for them and it had a great impact on how they turned out….let’s just say they both ended up in trouble

Anthony Baker my oldest daughter mother has always been jealous of my daughter and I relationship and did everything i the world to tarnish It.

Lucky HostessPromoter Gm my thoughts Fathers are vital in every aspect of a childs life from the genetic pool that connects to a child to their dad. The relationship impacts a child from birth to adulthood… as offsprings we make our most sound decisions from what our parents done and didnt do… my dad is Cuban not so good ways and lost time in my life created hurdles that wouldnt have been there if he was the best active father he could be. Still love him regardless thats how strong a fathers presence or not can be.

Ashleigh Thomas It’s very important. Having lived life as a single parent, growing up in a single parent household and now having my kids father in the house it’s a huge difference. It’s not as much of a struggle financially. But it also gives children that bonding time (for families with multiple children) where neither child feels neglected bc one parent can entertain one while the other and then switch. I’m not an only kid but grew up as one so I didn’t lack for attention but my mom had to work her ass off to make sure I was taken care of and I always wondered, where’s my dad why is he not here. I know my father. But we don’t have that “daddy-daughter” relationship. It’s a if I see him on the street I’ll honk and keep moving. I might text him or see him on holidays but it don’t make or break if I do or don’t.

Crystal Waters Very important because it depletes children’s level of trust. Some men don’t realize it but they have a special role they play in their children’s up bring and creation of personality. I never wanted to admit but now I do that as a woman I do not have what it takes to raise male children alone. There is something so keen and sacred that a male has that children get from their presence and life teachings.

Red Butterfly ‏@TaheeraAbdullah @DreJohnson1 its very important. To this day my son consider his father a friend because he don’t spend time or try to invest in his son.

Harold Jenkins ‏@HAJ3RD @DreJohnson1 GM,super important,I saw someone kill my father and my sister,so now with my kids it’s a MUST,I be there, lost my dad whenIwas13

Charmed & Dangerous ‏@DOTzel_WashNton @DreJohnson1 bein a good father is an integral part in the process of raising accountable young men especially. True Kings raise new Kings.

Harold Jenkins ‏@HAJ3RD Plus @DreJohnson1 it’s important for the moms to let the dad in the kids life’s, it’s a lot of moms who don’t and then talk bad about us smh

I AM WHO I AM ‏@A1ManShow @DreJohnson1 the absence of a father or mother for that matter is no excuse not to succeed nor is it a green light to do wrong.

CurvesNCurls ‏@SimplyJDB @DreJohnson1 boys don’t know what a man is until they see one & girls learn their worth in their father’s eyes #BlackFathers #WeNeedThem

IamKing ‏@BluStreak410 @DreJohnson1 My father wasn’t there for me so I refuse to let my children go thru that regardless of the situation with me and their mom’s.

larri alston ‏@larrialston @DreJohnson1 Father that loves/support his child is invaluable 2 a child’s self esteem, providing a sense of belonging*HappyTuesday: )

tionnasmalls Its very important in the blk community. Having a dad shapes who you are whether u are a male or female

jpjp1983 Its very important for me man. My daughter’s think im super dad. I never want to let them down.

west_dena@drejohnson1 I believe if more fathers had a positive influence on their children and were a part of their life, children wouldn’t be so angry. Maybe they would understand that people can talk out their problems instead of just killing each other. Have a wonderful day!!

mr_tmason@drejohnson1 it’s definitely important, dads have to realize it’d more than buying shoes, clothes, toys and giving money but the quality time with their kids makes it that greater

tru3_ston3rWords cant describe how important it is bro !!!! I cant see how a grown man can not take care of something he help create smh #ProudFather… These bums these days be in everything but they childs life !!!! @drejohnson1 gm bro #early

oh_so_u_mad_12 It’s important because if u don’t have you father in your life because if you have a son they won’t always be a male role model. If you hang around woman all the time you won’t have that role model. My mother try to be more of a mom and sort of do more stuff with me.

thebrandonmurray@drejohnson1 Very important….I grew up without my dad in my life….and it was rather hard because I had to learn how to become a man in my own….now I’m older, I have an 11yr old son and I made a vow to be in his life and show him how to become a man!

lilcupcake86 It is very important but as woman who didn’t grow up with my dad (due to an illness) it’s important to have positive role models in your family period. I was always taught to be better than your situation. Two engineering degrees later… They are proud.

kingdynastyonenation Very very important. But being father needs to be taught. Where will I learn it from if my father wasn’t there himself. We need to have talk shows about this at least every week on the media with guests from different background. Any boy can make babies. It doesn’t mean that u r a father. Just a Sperms donor.

jayhov23 We can’t help it if we aren’t allowed to do what we need to do. We always have stipulations with what we do as a man to our kids like we aren’t fit. We never have the same opportunity

instamoe_1576Very important children need a strong dad to help them be successful in all walks a dad has the ability to Empower young men help them reach there highest potential and teach young woman what a man is Suppose to be morally and from a substance point of view ..

dafancyone107 Having a positive father in a child’s life is very important. I lost my father to a massive heart attack at the age of 15. I learned more from him that most people learn in a life time. And most importantly he taught my brother to be a Mainland now he is teaching my nephews what he learned in 12 years.

yo_rico@drejohnson1 A positive father is the Single most positive influence in the family. A Black Father is the single most positive influence in a community. The burden of an entire society isbalanced on the shoulders of black men

mrillustrious It’s very important to me. A colleague asked me would you rather have your career ruined or your children ruined? It would be selfish as hell if I chose my career. My future (my sons) will have a good childhood and a strong mindframe. Picking them up from school at 3 as a surprise.

.

ladyknight92 ITS VERY VERY IMPORTANT I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY SOME MEN THINK ITS ALWAYS SUPPOSE TO BE THE WOMANS JOB TO BE A 24/7 PARENT A PHONE CALL OR A VISIT A DAY IS ALL IM ASKING FOR THIS IS FREE TIME IS FREE BONDING IS FREE…..I CAN GO ONONON

errnest77 Its so important., that , thats my answer. Very Important. It would be an indefinite explanation.

lastofadieingbreed69 It is very important. Our young men look for role models in the home first which would start with dad if he is around. Also our young ladies and daughters are looking for dad to give them certain lessons and experiences. I think that if more black fathers were around our children would not be so misguided.

errnest77 Oh yeah happy birthday to my daughter Nailah. Daddy love u
