sashayellostar GOOD MORNING DRE!! I work at a large university in Canada and I have asked all my close colleagues to step up and donate to our homeless population in the city! It is REALLLY cold here with a tremendous amount of snow- we need to show we CARE especially when we are in this winter season for 6 MONTHS!!! So we came together and purchased backpacks and filled each backpack with BASIC personal items (things we take for granted that the homeless population NEEDS such as transit passes, small blankets, gloves, scarves, toques, toilet paper, lip balms, toothbrush and paste, coffee card, candles n matches and hand warmers (probably only sold in canada lol). WE will all go down next week to the homeless shelter to hand them out personally!!! *all it takes is one person to initiate a drive or donation box and people will come forward!
